About the Position

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Office Pride, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, order, and overall maintenance of our facility. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, which are essential to creating a positive and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, pride in their work, and a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization.

- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked and in good condition.
- Handle garbage disposal and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Keep common areas, hallways, and public spaces clean.
- Control inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary.
- Immediately report any maintenance issues or safety risks to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and risk-free workplace.
Requirements:
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial is preferred, but not required. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and procedures.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfection techniques, and safe use of equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently and manage time well.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb stairs, and stand for long periods of time.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with other team members.
- Own and reliable transportation.
Job Details:
- Opening hours: Monday through Friday, starting around 5:30 PM, for a total of 20 hours per week
- Pay: $15 per hour to start. $16 per hour after trial period
